Cognos, an IBM company, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of business intelligence and performance management solutions. Its business intelligence (BI) suite offers a wide range of options to deploy enterprise CPM solutions in an integrated technological platform.

The Cognos BI suite includes components for multidimensional data entry and storage as well as powerful tools for relational and multidimensional reporting and analysis. Companies can also integrate further applications for planning, simulation, consolidation and ETL (Extract – Transform – Load) processes.

The individual components can be integrated in a user-friendly, centrally administered Web portal. Since users can access all tools for reporting and analysis from the Web, no client-side installations are necessary (zero footprint).
